Introduction to Kurio including how to search

Last Updated: Mar 09, 2012 11:42AM PST
Here is a link to to a short video giving an overview of how to search in Kurio (video)

The following is a text excerpt taken from the video

Smart Search
If you know the address of a listing, or it's MLS number then Smart Search is your fastest way to get to that listing.

Enter the Address or MLS number into the Smart Search field.
Then choose Address or MLS Number from the picklist
Click the GO button

Advanced Search
This search is very similar to the searches you perform in your regular MLS system.

Advanced Search can be found by clicking on the SEARCH button at the top of the Kurio page.

TIPS:
1. The Street name and Subdivision fields will accept partial words.
If you are not certain of the spelling of the street name you can enter the first part of the name and Kurio will still find it.

2. The Price Range fields will accept any of the following formats:
a. Full numbers: 250000
b. Alpha shortcuts: 250k, 1m, 2.5m  (k = thousands and m = millions)
3. The only punctuation mark allowed is the period (.) when used with the "m" alpha shortcut. eg. 1.5m

3. Keep the results to less than 100 listings
For best results, when you perform a search and more than 100 listings are returned, click on the "refine search" link and enter more criteria.
Kurio will only return the first 100 matches to your search criteria and you may not get to see the listing that your client would love to purchase.
